Hey there, fellow Bisexual Killjoy, did you miss us?
This summer has been a whirlwind of new beginnings and exciting projects for these podcasters. For those who follow us on Instagram or Threads, you’ve caught a few glimpses here and there about what we’ve been up to.
Lynn has (finally) joined Bailey in Boston and is adjusting after (arguably) the most intense move they’ve ever made.
Bailey has been a busy bee, convincing Bi+ writers from around the world to join the Bi+ Book Gang.
This September is really special for the Bisexual Killjoy Team - it’s our first Bi+ Visibility month celebrating together! We’ve worked our butts off to make sure y'all will have brand-new content to listen to next week, and so far, we’ve accomplished some pretty cool things. (Spoiler: Lynn has been a giddy teenager while Bailey has remained calm and composed.)
T-minus 6 Days!
Season 2 will have bookend episodes in the style you know and love - with Lynn’s big words and Bailey’s snappy commentary. Everything in between will be interviews with guests who are far more knowledgeable experts in their respective areas. You’ll hear from Dr. Rosie Nelson, Leanne Yau, Rob Cohen, and many other folks covering topics like gender fluidity, polyamory, and media representation.Â
Give It to Me Bi
We’ve also received, read, and were absolutely heart warmed with all of your messages via email and submitted through the Google form. (For folks who don’t know, you can always message us anonymously through this form if/when writing an email sounds daunting.)
Reading your stories and reflecting on your questions has prompted us to re-think about ways to connect with y'all. In fact, we have a fun announcement.
Introducing: Give It to Me Bi, an advice column for Bi+ folks and allies to answer any and all burning questions about Bi+ness, bisexual killjoy tips, biphobia, and virtually anything else!Â
How does it work?
Submit your letter or question here and keep an eye out for a future Substack featuring your letter along with our response - right in your inbox!
So many of you have shared the insights you’ve gained after listening to the podcast, and we want to assure you that we’re here with you on the journey to call out biphobia and embrace your queerness on your own terms.
One Last Thing:
We want this project to grow, but first and foremost, we want it to be of service to you. Please vote below on what you want to see next from us! And if there’s something you want to suggest, leave a comment!
T-Minus 6 days until the first episode of Season 2 comes out!
Make sure you have notifications on and that the headphones are charged. You’re gonna want to listen ASAP.
