I knew from a very young age that I loved teaching, probably because I really enjoyed bossing my sisters around and telling them not just what to do, but also how to do it. As a parentified eldest daughter, this came in handy for most of the chores around the home, and helping my sisters out with their homework.
So projects always came easy to me. I had a clear end goal, supplies around the house, and enough wits to make it happen. But the more I grew up, the more I realized I loved theory and abstract thinking. And the more I learned, the more I realized that not everyone was keen on learning what I wanted to teach.
