We Need to Talk About Jojo... Again

And why we can't minimize the queer experience

Let me start with this: I’m not a Jojo fan. I don’t vibe with her music. Her style really isn’t for me. And I didn’t follow her on social media until the whole “dating Chris Hughes” thing blew up into a massive biphobic fire.

But I do follow Pink News rather closely, and other queer mediums like Them. And of course, inevitably, celebrity news will pop up. It’s all well and good, pop culture is culture, and that includes celebrities.

So, while the first time I wrote about Jojo’s relationship was prompted by a friend- this time, I have been set off by Pink News, once again, being overly skeptical about a Bi+ person’s queer experience.
